Brief Summary -- Alexi Littrell hasn't told anyone what happened to her over the summer. Ashamed and embarrassed, she hides in her closet and compulsively scratches the back of her neck, trying to make the outside hurt more than the inside does.

I have not recommended this book to a single, who has not has their lives changed by this book. Courtney Stevens writes from such a real place that it taps into the fears and insecurities and then lifts the reader up and carries them into a world of hope and safety.
